Seattle Seahawks Draft Grades

How did the Seahawks do in the 2021 NFL Draft? We give the Seattle Seahawks draft grades for every pick they made.

Round 2 (No.56 Overall) WR, D’Wayne Eskridge

Seattle takes the wide receiver from Western Michigan with their first pick. Eskridge has major speed and reminds me a little bit of a Tyler Lockett. He averaged about 19 yards per catch over his collegiate career. Seattle has a major need for a third wide out as well. The biggest surprise about this pick is it’s not Seattle’s normal head scratcher! Grade B

Round 4 (No.137 Overall) CB, Tre Brown

Seattle addresses another positional need here. Taking the corner from Oklahoma will help soften the blow of losing starting corner Shaquill Griffin. Brown may be undersized according to some, especially for the Seahawks, however he doesn’t lack toughness or tenacity. Brown is a ball hawk with above average ability to defend passes. Don’t sleep on this pick as I love it! Grade A-

Round 6 (No.208 Overall) OT, Stone Forsythe

With their third and final pick the Seahawks attempted to get Wilson some help on the offensive line. I don’t see the ex Gator starting any time soon, but he should provide depth at both tackle spots and many scouts had him slated to come off the board a bit earlier. With only three picks its hard to wow me with a draft class. Plus I’m not a big fan of Jamal Adams who they gave up their first for. Grade C-
