Fantasy Football Rankings TE Tiers

Tier 1- The stars, the tight ends that give you an advantage every week

It’s a short list, but these are the guys to target early in your fantasy football draft. If you want to have an advantage in the tight end position, these are your three safest options, with Kelce at the top.

Travis Kelce, KC

George Kittle, SF

Darren Waller, LV

Tier 2- Strong every week starters. Potential to hit tier 1.

Andrews is the safest among this tier. Pitts is a rookie, and I hate rating a rookie this high, but Pitts is so special.

Mark Andrews, BAL

Kyle Pitts, ATL

TJ Hockenson, DET

Dallas Goedert, PHI

Tier 3- Decent tight ends, potential to overperform.

An interesting group here, the tier I’d most likely look at if I didn’t go tier one. I really like what Tonyan did on the Packers last year. Irv Smith Jr. is going to blow up this year as the clear number one tight end and number three receiver. I’d like to see if Evan Engram returns to his old form and if Noah Fant can take the next step forward. You never know about Gronk.

Robert Tonyan Jr., GB

Irv Smith Jr., MIN

Hunter Henry, NE

Evan Engram, NYG

Noah Fant, DEN

Mike Gesicki, MIA

Rob Gronkowski, TB

Tier 4- Low end starters/second tight end

If you’re looking to draft a tight end very late, or you want a backup, these are your guys. They will at least be starting tight ends who play every week.

Tyler Higbee, LAR

Jared Cook, LAC

Blake Jarwin, DAL

Cole Kmet, CHI

Tier 5-Lottery tickets, if you feel like taking a tight end as a lottery ticket

There’s a lot of talent in the tier, but there’s something standing in the way. There’s some unproven guys and some guys in two tight end offenses. Today

Jonnu Smith, NE

Pat Freiermuth, PIT

Adam Trautman, NO

OJ Howard, TB

Luke Stocker, TEN
