Waiver Wire Pickups Week 10

Week 10 Waiver Wire Pickups

I’m Going to do a waivers write-up this week due to scheduling issues. Hopefully, our lovely voices will be back soon.

Quarterbacks

Joshua Dobbs Vikings

A little scary because Jaren Hall is around, but Dobbs showed enough to pay attention to. We’ve talked about his rushing floor and he showed that in his first week in Minnesota with 66 yards and a TD on the ground. Reminder, this game was with zero practice reps. He’s only going to get more comfortable with the offense and Justin Jefferson should be back within two weeks.

Will Levis Titans

Levis gets a much friendlier matchup this week going against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that CJ Stroud just lit up. It’s a weak secondary in Tampa. While Levis would be a scary start in one quarterback leagues, he’s shown that he’s legit and should put up good numbers this weekend.

Running Backs

Kenton Mitchell Ravens

Probably the most popular waiver wire name this week, but he’s definitely a risk. He’s still a backup to Gus Edwards, but running backs are hard to come by. Mitchell is worth a look, but I wouldn’t blow the FAAB on him.

Ty Chandler Vikings

A big gamble, definitely a stash pickup. Cam Akers tore his achilles and Alexander Mattison hasn’t shown a ton thus far. Chandler would be next up on the depth chart to fill Cam Akers’s spot. He’s a definite receiving threat. Sneaky stash play here.

Wide Receiver

Tank Dell Texans

If Tank Dell is somehow available in your league, pick him up immediately. He should be rostered, but he’s still around 50-60 percent owned. If you need wide receiver help, Dell is a no-brainer.

Demario Douglas Patriots

He’s the new Patriots’ number-one receiver. I’m no fan of the New England passing game, but someone has to catch the ball there. Should be a solid option going forward just on volume going forward.

Darnell Mooney Bears

I’ve always been a Mooney fan and he finally had a breakout game. Justin Fields’ return should be nothing but positive news for Mooney. He’s a player to keep an eye on. One more good week and he’ll be widely owned.

Tight End

Cade Otton Buccaneers

Last week’s Colt play of the week came through in a big way with two touchdowns. Tight ends are tough to come by and Otton has touchdown upside every game. He’s averaging five receptions per game over the past three weeks.

Cole Kmet Bears

Speaking of tight ends with big touchdown upside, here’s Cole Kmet. Even more so than Mooney, Kmet will become more valuable with Justin Fields’ return as they seem to have a solid connection.

Taysom Hill Saints

Probably owned in your league, but if he’s not pick him up. It doesn’t matter if you already have a stud tight end. At the very least, Hill is valuable trade bait. He’s entered the elite tight end conversation.

Defense

Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys may have been dropped due to their matchup against the Eagles this past week. They have the Giants this week and fantasy owners should be licking their chops for the matchup.

Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons have the Arizona Cardinals this week. Atlanta is a pretty good defense and the Cardinals are garbage, especially with Tune starting. Good chance of another shutout here.

We’ll be back to podcasting soon, thanks for reading.
